2008-2009 IIDA Southern California Student Scholarship Event Summary

On Saturday, February 28, 2009, the Southern California chapter of IIDA held their annual student scholarship competition. Hosted by Allsteel and CBI in Irvine, this event brought together students from design schools all over Southern California. Students presented their portfolios in an interview format to three teams of judges comprised of senior industry leaders.

The judging panels select one winner per category and were given discretion to award additional students for honorable mention. This year, IIDA Southern California is awarding a total of $19,000 to six winning students:

Stephanie Tarr Memorial Scholarship: $5,000
