2010 IIDA Calibre Student Scholarship Awards

Dear Design Student,

We are excited to announce that the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Southern California Chapter is offering scholarships in four categories this year, where we will award $20,000 to outstanding interior design students!

We invite you to participate in this prestigious competition, which provides all students with great industry exposure and networking opportunities! 

The scholarship winners also receive a sponsored ticket to the Calibre Awards cocktail party, dinner and award show at the Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, and are celebrated with on-stage award recognition!

Application Format

With sustainable practices in mind, completed applications will be accepted via electronic mail only. Click the following link to download the Application, and save it to your local computer.* Then enter the information in the provided fields electronically, and email the completed application to vpstudents@iida-socal.org. Hard copy and incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Key Dates & Deadlines

Written Application Deadline: Friday, February 5, 2010 by 11:59pm

Verbal Presentation Day: Saturday, March 6, 2010

No project work is required for the written application, and the verbal presentation is a review of your selected portfolio of student work already completed… so get your application to us soon, and then you can focus on what you will be presenting at the event! Exact location of the Presentation Day event will be confirmed in early February, and issued, along with other details, to all eligible candidates.

Notification:

March 29, 2010 Scholarship Winners and non-winners will be notified by phone

Scholarship Award Presentation:

May 14, 2010, at the 22nd Annual IIDA Calibre Awards in Los Angeles
