Kick-Off Tailgate Party is where Design Teams are introduced to the sponsors in the tradition of a tailgate party at a rock concert. Each Design Team will draw the rock category from 16 rock genres as listed below. After the draw, each team will then have 15 minutes to strategize and conceptualize their design. Then, all design teams will select materials in two minutes from a given start time. Design Teams will have 8 weeks to complete their fashions from the following categories:
