About the Position & The Benefits of Working Here

Project Architects at Blitz lead projects from concept design through construction. We are looking for a confident and experienced architect with an outstanding track record of leading projects in the built environment, demonstrating professionalism and excellence in client management and all project phases. The ideal candidate is a talented technical designer with an extensive background in interiors design. A background in project management is a strong plus.

At Blitz, we uphold the highest standards of project delivery and professionalism, and the Project Architect will lead by example in all aspects of projects’ production processes. This is a full-time position with benefits. Compensation is based on ability and experience. Blitz’s work is moving far beyond commercial interiors into bio-tech, higher education, international hospitality, and developer-led adaptive re-use. We are looking to expand our team of technical design leaders to support this work. • Requirements
• 10+ years professional experience.
• Licensed Architect in California. Additional jurisdictions a strong plus.
• Expert knowledge of the California Building Code.
• Professional experience and proficiency with Revit.
• Accredited architectural degree (BArch or March).
• Experience with tenant improvements and with commercial interiors required. Experience with core + shell / ground up work a strong plus.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team and project through entitlements, technical documentation, and construction administration.
• Ability to work on several project simultaneously with multiple deadlines.
• Excellent graphic and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated client management experience.
• Candidates must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
