Inspiration & Impact at the 2025 Leaders Breakfast
The annual Leaders Breakfast celebrates the enduring influence of design and the individuals shaping its future. Guests were treated to an engaging keynote presentation, meaningful recognition of outstanding leadership within our community, and the opportunity to connect with peers who continue to advance the profession.
Keynote Speaker
This year’s keynote was delivered by Shola Richards, Founder and CEO of Go Together Global and bestselling author of Civil Unity, Making Work Work, and Go Together. Richards shared powerful insights on how to create a resilient mindset, in order to build and sustain workplace cultures of joyful peak performance.
Honoree
We were proud to recognize Georgie Smith, President and Founder of A Sense of Home (ASOH), as our 2025 Honoree. ASOH works to prevent homelessness by furnishing homes and building lasting community support for youth and families emerging from the foster system. In celebration of her contributions, Smith was presented with a gift from MillerKnoll. Our Chapter looks forward to partnering with ASOH to further expand our philanthropic impact.
Emerging Leader
We also honored Sarah Geske, NCIDQ, IIDA, as this year’s Emerging Leader. Based in Los Angeles, Geske is a commercial interior designer at HLW and an active member of our LA City Center Board. Her dedication and leadership exemplify the bright future of our industry.
