What is your favorite iconic chair:
The Eames executive chair with leather. It looks Spartan but is amazingly comfortable.

What is your favorite California destination:
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, an incredible window to ocean, beach and forest.

What is your favorite color:
The deep green that sometimes looks black.

What is your go-to outfit:
Levis and a crisp white shirt.

Where would we find you on the weekend:
In the western Sierra Nevada. The evening is crisp, the morning silent and the trails often shaded.

Gold or Silver: 
I like jewelry on those that enjoy wearing it.

Beer or Wine:
Having had love affairs with both, I now prefer Perrier.

Beach or Mountains:
I love them equally, but only when lightly touched by people.

Online or Print Magazines: 
Print, I prefer to read.

Open or Private Offices:
I love to see people, but am distracted if I can hear them.

James Bonar will be honored at this year’s Leader’s Breakfast for his noteworthy work with Clifford Beers Housing, an institution that provides housing to those in need of mental health services which results in an engagement with the broader community. James’s accomplishments extend well beyond Clifford Beers and include the revitalization of the Skid Row Housing Trust, and the planning of the Los Angeles Community Design Center’s not-for-profit production of Southern California housing.
