Student Charette

Southern California students from different schools come together each year to collaborate in a fast-paced, hands-on design charette. Teams are challenged to work together to develop a design presentation based on a program assigned at the beginning of the day. Winners are chosen by a panel of esteemed interior design professionals. First Place winning team is awarded $10,000 and the Second Place team receives $4,000. The first place team participates in the West Coast Student Charette each year.

West Coast Student Design Charette

The West Coast Student Design Charette was held in Southern California on April, 2017. Participants included winning teams of the local Charettes in IIDA Chapters on the West Coast including Southern California, Northern California, Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. The winners of the Charette go on to compete at the International Charette at NeoCon in Chicago.
