2015 OC Trunk Show Event Kicks Off 15th Annual Haute Couture Fashion Show

The IIDA Orange County City Center hosted the 2015 Trunk Show at GKK Works on March 19, which precedes its premier event, the Haute Couture Fashion Show. This year’s theme is “Around the World: A Global Tapestry”.The Trunk Show brought together participating design teams from throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire to enjoy food and drinks, select their theme, and participate in the infamous “fabric grab” to begin to design their outfits for the Fashion Show. Once the teams select their fabric, donated by participating vendors, they will collaborate with their teams and sponsors to create wearable works of art, inspired by countries from around the world.

The Haute Couture Fashion Show serves not only to bring the industry together for a night of creativity and fun competition, but also provides an opportunity for fundraising. The IIDA OCCC donates a portion of the proceeds from the Haute Couture Fashion Show to two local charities : Olive Crest and Working Wardrobes.

Join us for this year’s event April 9th, 2015 at the Samueli Theater, part of the iconic Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Tickets are on sale for this not to be missed event here.
