2020 Calibre Design Awards – Letter from the IIDA Board

To IIDA SoCal Membership and Sponsors

After much discussion and listening to our members and sponsors, we believe it is in the best interest of our design community to reschedule Calibre 2020 as a virtual event, to be launched on YouTube on August 27, 2020.

At 5:00pm on Thursday, August 27, we will announce the 2020 Calibre Design Awards and Student Award winners. We recognize that Calibre is the networking event for our industry and that we all look forward to seeing and making friends. While we cannot provide the same venue to which we are accustomed, we hope that you will join your teammates – either virtually or while maintaining the proper social distance – at 5:00 on August 27 to share in the excitement.

We are starting to make plans for Calibre 2021, where the 2020 Design Award recipients to be invited to be recognized in person and on stage.

We want to sincerely thank our members and sponsors, for your continued support of Calibre and making it the premier event of our industry. Please stay safe and mark your calendars for 5:00pm Thursday, August 27, 2020 for the announcement of the 2020 winners, and Friday, May 21, 2021, where we will see each other once again at Calibre 2021.
