2024 Legislative Wrap Up

That’s a wrap! As the 2024 legislative session comes to a close, we reflect on the progress made thus far. Earlier this year, IIDA’s California Chapters announced the #SignSealEmpower campaign. The campaign represents IIDA’s revitalized effort to pursue legislation in California that would provide a path to permitting privileges for commercial interior designers in the State. Since that announcement, leadership from IIDA’s NorCal and SoCal Chapters teamed up to create momentum for #SignSealEmpower and embarked on a fierce advocacy journey throughout the 2024 legislative session.
