Call For Nominations for the 2026-2027 IIDA Southern California Board of Directors

IIDA Southern California Chapter is calling for nominations for open Board positions. Our Board year begins July 1, 2026 and extends through June 30, 2027. Please take some time to consider rising talent around you and help us find the best candidates for these open positions, that candidate may even be you!

We seek to advance the commercial interior design profession through connecting and cultivating relationships and knowledge; advocating for healthy, sustainable, and equitable spaces; and celebrating the diverse and creative minds that impact the design industry.

Some key points to consider when nominating candidates:

The Southern California Chapter Bylaws require that candidates for elected positions must be Professional, Associate, or Industry Members in good standing. If you know someone who is not yet a member but would be a good candidate for a position, please list their name as well. You can also nominate yourself. Each Board position is a 2-year commitment, with exceptions* noted below.

• President-Elect (voting, 3-year term*)
• Membership Vice President (voting)
• Outreach and Philanthropy (2 positions available) (voting)
• Professional Development Vice President (2 positions available) (voting)

Currently we have four () appointed Board positions open and available:

• Los Angeles City Center Director (appointed, non-voting position)
• Orange County City Center (2 positions available) (appointed, non-voting position)
• San Diego City Center Director (appointed, non voting position)
