Desk Talk with Hallie Putterman

Meet Hallie Putterman, she is our local sales representative for Bentley and our very own IIDA San Diego City Center Memberships Chair. She is always on the go and brings good energy to anyone!

What are your 4 ways you stay sane throughout the day?

Start my day at the gym (you can’t blow off a workout if you start your day with it)
Take my dog for a walk—I’m fortunate to be able to bring her with me (when it isn’t too hot), so if the day gets too nutty I’ll take a break to walk her.
Visit my favorite design firms and clients! Some offices really remind you how fun this job can be.
Keep snacks in the car . . . because sometimes there isn’t even a second to stop for food!

What are 3 things that have inspired you lately?
Planning a trip to Belize to visit friends who just moved there
Organizing a reunion of my teammates from the Anchorage Marathon in 1999
The color of the water on a recent trip to Antigua. I’m trying to find it in a paint color!

Where can we find you on a Saturday morning?
Riding my bike around San Diego

What are 3 things you haven’t done that you want to do?
Visit the island in Chile where my mom was born
Take my father to Italy so he can try authentic gelato
Complete an event in all 50 states (I’m up to 18, and tracking on a map with my 9-year old niece)

Beer or Wine?
Beer. Dark beer for sure!

What 3 items would you take to a desert island other than food and water?

A knife
A tent
A journal (and a pen . . . can I make that 4 items?!)
