Ask the Professional – a fireside chat series to help design professionals understand roles in the industry.
Join IIDA Professional Development team for a series of Fireside chats to “Ask the Professional”. These informal discussions are meant to be an open forum to answer questions within the industry about roles and responsibilities helping designers figure out where they fit in. Chats would occur once a month and would involve a professional to lead the discussion. Different discussions would include a Sr. Designer, Project Manager, Job Captain, Outside Project Manager, Furniture Dealer with the goal of expanding to Representatives, Manufacturers and General Contractors.
