Haunt Couture 2013 Team Kick-Off Event Is A Huge Success at Tangram Studios DTLA

Haunt Couture 2013 Design Teams, Sponsors and Committee

Ten Design Teams and Two Student Design Teams crowded into the new Tangram Studios DTLA on September 16th for cocktails and appetizers to officially kick-off the event and introduce the design teams competing in Haunt Couture on October 30 at LA/Exchange.  This year’s narrative theme is “GRAND PRIZE:  Come on Down!” taking its cues from a classic television game show.  Each of the teams drew individual “grand prize” that one might find on a game show.  The teams will design their
runway fashions based on their inspiration from the 20th Century design icons that were also “game changers” in its own right.  If the level of excitement and intensity of competition already felt at the kick-off event is any indication, this year’s Haunt Couture may prove to be the best Haunt yet!

Volunteers are needed for the day of the event.  If you are interested, please contact Michelle Marotta at [email protected] or Sean Kim at [email protected].  It’s a great way to get to know the industry and help a committee that puts on one of the best events of the year!

Sign up for Diamond, Platinum or Gold sponsorship to have your company logo included in the next round of invites in October!  Logos are due September 30th. As one of the most highly attended industry events of the year, sponsoring Haunt Couture offers maximum visibility with a target audience of designers and architects.
