Haunt Couture 2023 – The Reveal
Haunt Couture 2023 has officially kicked off!
The Reveal and Garment Creation Day for Haunt Couture took place on Saturday, September 9th at MASH Studios. The day would not have been possible without the careful planning of the Haunt Couture Committee Volunteers. Thank you to the Reveal sponsors, PeopleSpace and EPIC Trends, who generously provided breakfast and boxed lunch, making sure participants were fueled and ready for a day filled with creativity and inspiration. Huge thank you to MASH Studios for hosting us!

The Theme – HUNT OR BE HUNTED
The day kicked off at 10am with the unveiling of this year’s Haunt Couture theme, HUNT OR BE HUNTED. Each Team had the opportunity to choose a Tarot Card from one of the four categories: Water, Air, Mountain or Forrest. These Tarot Card represented the team’s assignment and a different mythical creature from folklore or legend. With just 15 minutes to brainstorm their garment’s vision, teams then embarked on a thrilling fabric grab. Our fabric sponsors, including Arc-Com, Bernhardt, Concertex, Designtex, HBF, Knoll, Kvadrat, Luum, Martin Brattrud, Maharam, Momentum and Pallas provided an impressive array of textile cuttings for participants to draw inspiration from.
Creativity Unleashed
Once the fabric grab was complete, teams, each consisting of 5 A+D Firm Members + 1 Sponsor, were released to construct their garments. Teams worked together to creatively design and build their garments.
At 5pm, all teams had their outfits photographed and collected. They will not gain access to their creations until the night they walk the runway at Haunt Couture, on Thursday, October 26th. Mark your calendars and prepare for a spectacular evening!
Upcoming Team Event
Leading up to the Haunt Couture event – Teams will have the opportunity to socialize and celebrate with their sponsors. Andreu World is hosting a Cocktail Party on Thursday, October 12th. This is event is exclusive to participating firms, team sponsors and fabric sponsors.
