Haute Couture Fashion Show at House of Blues San Diego
Last Thursday night, the House of Blues San Diego transformed into a runway experience like no other for the IIDA Haute Couture Fashion Show—and the creativity was unforgettable. ✨

This year’s theme, Come Together, brought design firms and student teams side by side, each creating one-of-a-kind looks using their sponsor’s building materials—while drawing inspiration from selected song lyrics. The result? A stunning fusion of music, material, and imagination.
Ten professional A&D teams and five student teams took the stage, reimagining everyday materials into striking, high-fashion statements. From bold concepts to intricate textures, each design proved that when creativity and collaboration meet, the possibilities are limitless.

A huge thank you to our incredible sponsors—this event wouldn’t have been possible without your support and the materials that brought these visions to life. In addition, this show wouldn’t have been possible without the talents of Bellus Academy, Xonae Love, Mada Productions, DJ Damon Burton, Clarus and Scantech Graphics.

We’d also like to extend our sincere thanks to our amazing judges for lending their time and expertise:
Ashly Ortiz | Burger Construction
Laura Cain | On-Air Personality/Podcaster
Natalia Worden | Design Institute of San Diego
Sandra Veum | Mariposa Styling and Shopping
Catherine McCullough | McCullough Landscape Architects
