IIDA SoCal Hosts Western Regional Chapter Leadership Conference

IIDA SoCal hosted the Western Regional Chapter Leadership Conference in Los Angeles this past weekend, bringing together Executive Board members from seven Chapters—Southern California, Northern California, Intermountain, Northern Pacific, Oregon, and Southwest—as well as leadership from IIDA Headquarters in Chicago.

The conference centered on two primary topics: Outreach & Philanthropy and Advocacy. Chapter Leaders shared their current opportunities, strategies, and initiatives, creating a rich exchange of knowledge across the region.

The weekend opened with a meet-and-greet hosted by Shaw Contract in their DTLA showroom, followed by design tours of McKensie & Company (designed by HLW, constructed by GCX) and ArentFox (designed by Donaldson + Partners, constructed by Seirra Pacific Contractors). The group continued conversations over dinner in the Arts District and concluded the conference with a guided Sunday morning tour at The Broad. Click here to see more photos of the weekend!
