IIDA SoCal is named the 2016 Chapter of the Year!

Outgoing President, Robyn Taylor, IIDA, CID, announced that Southern California won the 2016 IIDA Large Chapter of the Year. This prestigious award recognizes a Chapter, from across North America and abroad, that sets a stellar example for the organization, advancing and enhancing the profession of Interior Design through excellent programs, increased membership, quality publications, and graphics.

Through our community’s sponsorship, leadership, membership and participation, we have been able to continue providing outstanding programs and services across all of our Southern California City Centers from Santa Barbara, through Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire down to San Diego.

Some of the successes include increased legislative representation, increased student scholarship awards and experiences, ongoing charitable support for industry-related organizations, 50+ CEUs, panel discussions, round table meetings, salon events, tours of architectural landmarks and significant projects, enhanced Professional Development programs including a Speaker Series in each City Center, three NeoConnects and three Haute Couture Fashion Shows across the region, Leaders Breakfast, the distinctive Calibre Design Awards, and countless related activities which unify and network our members and industry partners.
