Amalia Gal Interior Design – PT Design Assistant, West Hollywood

Amalia Gal Interior Design is a full service boutique interior design studio specializing in residential and commercial spaces. I am eager to have a savvy, brilliant, and well educated design assistant come work in my relaxed but professional design studio! The ideal candidate is open to learning product, able to pull material palettes, produce space plans and renderings, and excited to learn and work alongside me. Come willing to learn, have fun, use your hard earned design skills and be ready to contribute your valuable insight, innovations, and ideas!

THE POSITION

Completing CAD drawings and space planning tasks, producing 3D renderings, assisting with client consultations and site measurements. Pulling finishes and products for client presentations and taking notes during meetings. Organizing materials. Must have the ability to help move and layout furniture and decor for client project installations. Social media savvy. Hours will vary with the tasks at hand, but are expected to range from 10-20 per week.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be a Los Angeles County resident, preferably living in or near the West Hollywood area with a reliable vehicle. Must have a degree in interior design or architectural design as well as a professional portfolio, including construction drawings. You will be asked to provide proof of your degree and present your work. Current students in their last semester of an interior or architectural design program are also invited to apply. This is an entry level position so only candidates with 2 years of experience or less will be considered. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, 3D photo-realistic rendering, Photoshop, and InDesign preferred, plus various social media platforms. Other design programs and photography skills are a plus. A quick study, good attitude and reliability is a must.
