Designer Assistant (Los Angeles) 

BDB, is seeking a full-time Interior Design Assistant to join their team. We are located at: 3450 Cahuenga Blvd West #103, Los Angeles Ca 90068 

This position will provide support to the designers, with duties including: product and material research; obtaining quotes, pricing, and estimates, vendor and client interaction, and assist in preparation for presentations and meetings.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently. We work with a lot of high-profile clients, our projects range from residential to large commercial projects. You must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment on multiple projects. Please forward a cover letter indicating your prior experience, along with your resume.

Assist designer to support construction projects as needed.

Basic office management – keep office space organized, keep project notebooks updated with current drawings

Meet subcontractors as needed for site survey

Keep material libraries organized.

Write the minutes of meetings and email them to the corresponding staff

Picking up and dropping off samples as needed

Walking through job sites to meet a designer, vendor and/or client

Coordinate marketing thru social media (Instagram, Houzz, etc).

Qualifications: 

Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude.

Prior administrative experience a must.

Interior Design and/or construction knowledge of 3 years 

Experienced with Powerpoint, Excel, Word, some FF&E knowledge a plus

AutoCAD or design program REQUIRED.

Good time management.

Self-starter.

Full-time only. Prefer someone that lives locally or surrounding area 90068

Pay: $18.00 – $25 per hour
