At HED, Design Excellence is our passion, it’s what we aim to deliver to our clients, and it’s what makes our work evolutionary and engaging.  We are looking for a Corporate Workplace Business Development expert that shares our passion and who has a thirst for the hunt and a drive to succeed in winning work in a very competitive and rewarding environment.  In this highly responsible and visible role, we’ll be looking to you to raise awareness of Harley Ellis Devereaux (HED)’s capabilities in the Corporate Workplace market, while working collaboratively with our Corporate Commercial Studio Leaders. In a very positive and collaborative environment, you’ll strategize with professional, administrative, and marketing staff to create winning project pursuit submissions.  Additionally, you’ll represent the firm at industry events.  We’ll look to you to create opportunities to connect the firm’s professional leadership to End User’s, Brokers, Project Managers and others with knowledge and influence over assignments that match our core competencies.  All the while, we will work hard with a goal of winning and having fun along the way with great colleagues and client partnerships.

Have you demonstrated success in a similar role in a design-related or professional services firm? Do you consider yourself to be bright, articulate, intelligent, and able to communicate a compelling story in an engaging manner to professional peers and prospective clients?  Do you check the boxes of having a degree in business, marketing, or design or significant equivalent experience? If you have answered yes to those questions and you have a deep knowledge of the Los Angeles Corporate & Commercial (Design, Real Estate, Construction) market and a network that will facilitate access to our identified target audience, then we are interested in speaking with you.
