Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Interior Designer, we’ll count on you to:

• Collaboratively create and implement the interior design on various project types while integrating ideas into space, expression, and experience
• Develop functional requirements and project design complexities
• Demonstrate substantial knowledge of interior design and planning principles, building and planning code requirements, specification preparation and organization, construction costs and methods, and contract preparation and negotiation
• Demonstrate experience in creating interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and associated coordination
• Take responsibility for assignments with specified objectives that require investigation of many varied solutions
• Work with clients on projects of any size
• Direct work efforts of others, develop detailed design concepts, produce contract documents, interpret ordinances and interpret client needs
• Write specifications covering interior design matters, and perform code reviews
• Coordinate work
