Miller Design – Interior Designer/Project Manager, San Diego

Miller Design is an established, boutique commercial interiors firm is looking for someone full time with strong design, technical and organizational skills to work in a fast-paced office. Our office environment is new and the vibe is low key and happy, creative and bright. We’re in a hip part of town that offers a wide diversity of services.

Our projects range from corporate offices, to pharmaceutical companies, yoga studios, medical/dental and R&D spaces.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in interior design or architecture
• 7+ years of experience in a commercial interiors firm
• Have a CID credential
• Have knowledge of current building codes and exiting requirements
• Be able to produce CD’s without assistance
• Be knowledgeable of construction details and reviewing submittals
• Have presentation abilities in SketchUp, Photoshop, PowerPoint
• Be proficient AutoCAD 2015 or above, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SketchUp, Photoshop
• Be personable and comfortable interacting with clients, contractors & brokers
• Have experience with permitting and interacting with plan checkers at the city
• Work well with deadlines and have a quick response time to email correspondence
• Be able to manage multiple projects at one time
• Be an excellent problem solver
