O Arch – Commercial Interior Design Professional, Irvine

We are looking for a self-motivated interior designer for corporate tenant improvements, building repositioning, and multifamily projects. Candidates must demonstrate great character and work ethic with a willingness to learn and grow into a well-rounded designer handling all aspects of a project from inception to completion.
Candidate Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
• Knowledge of design phases from Programming, Space Plan, Pricing Plan, Design Development, Material and Finish Selection, Construction Documents, Government Agency Submittal, Construction Administration
• Graphic and presentation skills to effectively communicate design intent
• Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited University program

Candidate will collaborate with the team on multiple projects simultaneously from inception to completion in the following capacity:

• Attend client meetings
• Field Survey and CAD documentation
• Space planning
• Develop Pricing Plans
• Product / Material Research
• Develop Finish Schemes
• Design Development and Presentations
• Construction Documents
• Code Analysis
• Detailing
• City Submittal and liaising with government agency personnel
• Coordination with consulting engineers
• Assist with reviewing submittals and RFIs
• Attend construction meetings
• Attend Punch Walks and prepare project close out documents

This is an in office position in Irvine CA. Salary will commensurate on experience.
