The ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT MANAGER will manage all aspects of assigned projects for turnkey interior design projects and large furniture procurement opportunities. The PM will maintain all facets of project planning, logistics, project schedules, estimating, resource allocation, field verification, site management, and budget. The Project Manager must have substantial knowledge of architecture, construction, and interior design best practices in all phases of the project process. The candidate must possess proven experience in space planning, building code requirements, client presentations, F.F.E specification, RFP’s, and exceptional technical skills. The ability to read, navigate, and understand construction documents, furniture plans, and layouts are essential.

This position must promote and maintain outstanding communication and service levels to all customers, seeking to continuously improve the sales and design process. The PM must possess the ability think strategically, analytically, critically, and creatively, to solve problems within an established scope of work, budget, and schedule. The candidate requires excellent negotiating and intrapersonal skills to work effectively with the project team to foster and maintain positive working relationships. The Project Manager must be a highly organized, motivated, and adaptable professional with a proven aptitude to manage multiple projects simultaneously and successfully, with many tight deadlines.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design/ Architecture or equivalent is essential, and contract furniture experience is preferred. The Architectural Project Manager will support POI and our clients by leveraging their professional knowledge to help us build environments people want to be in.
