March Design Tour A Success!

Freeman Freeman Smiley Conference Room: What a view!

This year’s March Design Tour was a wonderful success with a total of 42 attendees for the evening.  The tour kicked off at DLA Piper, a law firm that occupies 3 floors in the beautiful 2000 Avenue of the Stars building in the heart of Century City. At a stone’s throw away, our second tour of the night was Freeman Freeman Smiley, a law firm in an adjacent building, located at 1888 Century Park East.  Lead designers Mandy Provenza and Carmel Brenden of Aref & Associates were our lovely tour guides for the evening.

Just a few highlights of the tours included a wide variety of furniture, unique material selections, custom designed signage as well as innovative light fixtures which harmoniously came together as dynamic and design inspiring spaces.  A lot of time and meticulous detail went into these projects and it was a great pleasure to see the final masterpieces.

To end the evening we enjoyed a cocktail reception at Craft Restaurant owned by Top Chef’s Tom Colicchio.  It was a wonderful time to catch up with friends and share stories.  This event highlighted our amazing designers in the community and brought industry associates together for a fun-filled night!  A big thank you to all that helped make this event possible and all of our attendees.  We truly enjoyed seeing all of your smiling faces at the event & hope to see you at the next IIDA event!
