NeoConnect San Diego Speaker Series

This year’s NeoConnect San Diego theme is The Future. Keeping with that impetus, our speaker series is focused on the office buildings and interiors of the future. Our special guest, Lankford & Associates, will be sharing their plans for the Makers Quarter development in East Village. This 5 block multiphase project supports the exciting vision of the IDEA District, incorporating elements of innovation, design, education and the arts.

NAIOP award winning architectural firms Gensler and Miller Hull will present their building designs that meet the corporate demands of net-zero sustainability, personal technology, and the generational shift toward the incorporation of mixed use communities that place a high value on work/life balance and quality of life. The Makers Quarter serves as an example of these emerging mixed use communities.

Ware Malcomb will focus on interiors that provide options not just for individual work but also work spaces for collaborative groups, team projects, and social interaction. They will also discuss how offices can actually improve health.

The Millennial Generation have been instrumental in driving this visionary movement as we look forward to the future.
