Orange County 2025 Design Tour – OC Sanitation District Headquarters

Last Friday, our Orange County City Center Professional Development committee hosted an exclusive design tour of the OC Sanitation District Headquarters facility in Irvine, CA. OC Sanitation District is a public agency in the state of California that provides wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal services for approximately 2.6 million people in central and northwest Orange County.

The project was designed by HDR, Inc, furnished by Peoplespace, and flooring by Bentley Mills. Working closely with OC San, HDR team developed a design solution that engages the public through educational experiences, prioritizes employee well-being and returns value for public investment, all while focusing on precedent-setting but cost-conscious sustainability goals.

Design Tours were graciously led by members of the HDR, Inc project team who worked on the building. This event was organized by our Professional Development team.
