Orange County Design Tour – Boot Barn HQ
Last Thursday, our Orange County City Center Professional Development committee hosted an exclusive design tour of Boot Barn Headquarters in Irvine, CA. Boot Barn is a large and rapidly expanding retailer specializing in western and work-related footwear, apparel, and accessories. They operate over 465 stores across 49 states and also have an e-commerce presence through their website and other online platforms. The company was founded in 1978 and has grown to become the largest player in its niche market.
The project was designed by The Heartland Interior Design and architect of record was Ware Malcomb.
Our tour of Boot Barn Headquarters was an unforgettable experience that celebrated the brand’s western roots while showcasing cutting-edge workplace design. From the moment you set foot inside, it was clear this was not your average corporate office – it was a thoughtfully designed space that reflected culture, spirit, and nature. One of the standout moments was not only its 4- story high waterfall, but walking into a striking showroom lined wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling with hundreds of pairs of cowboy boots. The space detailed cozy lounge areas with unique furniture choices creating a quiet and relaxed space. Every detail throughout the tour reflected a deep commitment to authenticity, comfort, and brand alignment.
Huge thank you to our event sponsors for supplying food and beverages at the event: HBC, District Loom, Shaw Contract (Gold level) and Taber, Koroseal, The Heartland Interior Design (Silver level).
Design Tours were graciously led by Tara Miller of The Heartland Interior Design. This event was organized by our Professional Development team. We are always looking for committee members! If you are looking to get involved in this committee, please reach out to Delaney Riley at [email protected].
