Orange County’s Crafting with a Professional

The Crafting with a Professional event was a resounding success! Attendees thoroughly enjoyed the experience, pairing students with IIDA Design Professionals to create beautiful, dried flower bookmarks. This unique opportunity allowed student members to connect with the IIDA Southern Chapter, board members, and professionals in a relaxed and engaging environment.

The event’s casual and social atmosphere was particularly appreciated, making it less intimidating for students and fostering a comfortable and inviting experience. The smaller crowd contributed to a more intimate and personal interaction, encouraging meaningful networking. We’re thrilled to report that some attendees even engaged in discussions about potential hiring opportunities.

Given the positive feedback and the enthusiastic reception, we’re considering doing a similar event again. We look forward to continuing this successful format and providing valuable connections and experiences.
