Ryan Markland

Ryan Markland is the founder of SOURCED, an independent rep group built around thoughtful design, meaningful relationships, and a real drive to support the architecture and design community in a deeper way. Over the past decade, he’s worked closely with designers, architects, and manufacturers to help bring great ideas into the built world—with an emphasis on collaboration, clarity, and creative execution.

Outside of work, he lives in Los Angeles with his partner (an artist who is a constant inspiration) and their recently rescued dog, Smokey, who constantly reminds them how to appreciate and find beauty in a long walk. He’s always looking to expand his network, learn from others, and find new ways to contribute. He is honored to bring that same energy to IIDA SoCal as VP of Communications + helping shape how we connect, share, and move this community forward.
