The 35th Annual Calibre Design Awards
After two virtual programs and one outdoor event, the 35th Annual Calibre Awards finally returned to the Beverly Hilton on May 12! It was exciting to see everyone gathering around the pool again, and mingling inside the International Ballroom.

We were fortunate to have Cheryl Durst, IIDA’s Executive Vice President and CEO with us to introduce SoCal’s vision for 2024 and beyond. And Hilary Lukenbaugh surprised us with an elegant return to present the Best of Calibre Award.
Calibre is all about recognizing the work of the next generation of designers, and we were excited to be able to honor six students for their outstanding talents.
This was the year we launched the People’s Choice Award. After everyone voted and the votes were tallied, who would have thought there would be a three-way tie! Having three winners underscores the wide range of exceptional design we have in Southern California.
We are very proud that Calibre continues to recognize a broad range of high quality commercial interior design in Southern California, and honors the talented teams that successfully deliver outstanding projects to our community. We sincerely thank all who attended Calibre 35, and look forward to seeing everyone next year at Calibre 36!!
