Unveiling of the Villains
On Thursday, June 23rd, over 150 people attended the Orange County Fashion Show “kick-off” event – “Unveiling of the Villains,” at the Vine located adjacent to LPA in Irvine. All the design and student teams participating in the fashion show attended in anticipation of which villain they would select for their inspiration. Click here to see the photos of the event!
The 2016 Fashion Show committee is bringing back the “old format,” teams this year will not pre-make their costumes, but will be given an allotted time to pull fabric and construct their costume the night of the actual fashion show. The fashion show will be held on Thursday, July 21st at the Harborside Pavilion in Newport Beach, CA., which happens to be the old venue for the fashion show when the format was this way in the past. A good time was had by all – designers, students, vendors and fashion show sponsors, everyone seems very excited for this change and is looking forward to a fun night on the 21st of July!
The event had over 150 people in attendance, the main purpose of this event was to engage the OC design community and to spark the buzz and excitement for the main event, The 2016 Orange County Fashion Show, and it definitely did just that!
