Please join IIDA San Diego Student Affairs committee for our first in-person event of the year! This is a one-on-one speed networking event to provide opportunities for students to meet and speak with potential mentors, employers, and industry reps who could help you get your career started after graduation. Light bites and refreshments will be provided. This event is free to all students and Jr. Designer’s only, no IIDA affiliation needed. Preregistration is required.
The event will be held on Thursday April 27th from 5:30pm to 8pm at Cultura located at 5010 Shoreham Place Suite 110, San Diego, CA 92122.
The objectives of this event are to:
- To increase diversity, equity, and inclusion in the built environment in San Diego.
- To educate students on the day to activities of a Career Professional in our industry.
- To be a source of inspiration or mentorship to students.
- To motivate students to make intentional and purposeful choices regarding their careers.
This FREE event will provide a valuable service to our community and is expected to draw a large number of students from colleges across San Diego to participate and learn about the different companies, and sectors they can potentially grow into in their careers.
There will be a Career Professional who will be grouped 1-on-1 with a student and/or delegated a group of students.
This is a wonderful opportunity for students of interact with Career Professionals of today and potentially their new employees of the future.
